Field Service Engineer (f/m/d) Marine & Industry Division Our M&I Segment is a global technology leader that provides innovative products and solutions for a wide range of applications, such as propulsion solutions for naval and civil marine, combining standard high-speed power sources, including diesel engines, gas turbines, and hybrid-electric combinations.
In the marine sector, our products are used in naval surface combatants such as frigates and destroyers for navies and government customers as well as ferries, merchant vessels and super yachts for civil customers.

Who are we looking for?
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) who can assist our customers and partners with his expert knowledge.

Key responsibilities Independent execution of costumer care and service work, for example: commissioning navy vessels, gearbox inspections, maintenance and installation. Commissioning as well as repair work and complete revisions and upgrades for marine gear systems.
Troubleshooting and damage analysis on the construction site/shipyard/on board/offshore.
Ensuring customer retention by effective communication concerning work timelines and expectations.
Provide recommendations for replacement parts and generel instructions to customers.
Write site reports, measurements and alignment protocols in English, address any requirements and needs.
Sporadic assignments in assembly works at RENK Group.
What qualifications you should have Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field (or relevant experience in lieu of degree).
Proven knowledge of the naval environment is desirable.
Outstanding experience and knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems as well as PLC.
Proven experience with gearboxes is preferable.
At least 3 years of professional experience in the Field Service Segment.
Experience in project management is beneficial, especially on large-scale construction sites.
Passion about independent, well-structured, and organized work styles.
Dedicated team player with a strong customer orientation.
Fluent in Italian and English.
A good command of written and spoken German is considered of advantage.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
