In this role, you will service analytical laboratory equipment in the New England territory with a heavy focus on the greater Boston area but will also include NH & ME and a handful of customers in CT, RI, & NY. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting Agilent analytical lab instrumentation, including LC/MS/MS and HPLC. Our client is open to hiring a seasoned Field Service Engineer or also someone looking to transition from a laboratory-based position. To be successful in this client-facing role, you must have strong communication and organizational skills coupled with the ability to identify equipment issues and resolutions. Field Service Engineer (Agilent LC/MS/MS Req) Responsibilities • Travel to client sites with an average of 1-2 appointments per day
• Perform preventive maintenance, instrumentation repairs, and IQ/OQ/PQ
• Complete required paperwork documenting equipment service details
• Maintain records in centralized company database
• Collaborate with the Operations Team on appointment scheduling and priority
• Support with equipment uninstalls/reinstalls for laboratory relocations
• Provide excellent service, resulting in client satisfaction
• Attend occasional equipment training sessions
• Join client meetings to address equipment questions as needed
• Provide support with analytical equipment & related projects at the company office
• Provide training and support for new engineers
Field Service Engineer (Agilent LC/MS/MS Req) Qualifications • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting Agilent analytical lab instrumentation is required
• Experience with LC/MS/MS and HPLC is required
• Ability to travel primarily within New England & occasionally to TX, IL, & CA is required
• Reliable transportation & valid driver's license is required
