Field Service Engineer is the role dedicated to the installation, testing, training, and repair of BLM Group machines and automation systems at the customer's site.
For the role, the ideal candidate must have a strong technical background (in electrotechnical, mechanics, or mechatronics), good interpersonal and organizational skills, and a willingness to travel in Italy and abroad.
Responsibilities Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Technical Assistance service;Contribute to improving the quality of service provided to the customer;Maintain a high level of quality of BLMGROUP products installed at the customer's site.Activities Carrying out after-sales technical service activities at the customer's premises, such as:installations and testing;repairs and preventive maintenance;troubleshooting and extraordinary maintenance;Carrying out training activities - on site and at customer sites (Italy and abroad) - on the use and maintenance of BLMGROUP products (SW and machines);Monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency levels of the Technical Service Department with a view to continuous improvement of the Service provided to the customer;Supporting the optimal management of spare parts in order to improve the outcomes of customer interventions by dialoguing with headquarters.Must have: Technical-oriented educational background (diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical/Mechatronics);Proficiency in the English language;Willingness to travel frequently, both in Italy and abroad (travel of up to 2 consecutive weeks, the Service Technician performs about 70% of annual work time on the road).Nice to have: Previous experience in technical roles related to production or maintenance of industrial machines or plants;Knowledge of a second foreign language, preferably German or French.
