Field Service EngineerWe have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join us at Honeywell.For our Honeywell Process Solution (HPS) organization we are currently looking for Field Service Engineers who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and configuring Honeywell Industrial Control & Safety (SAS) systems and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems in the energy, chemical, and manufacturing markets.The person will spend most of the time in the field between Europe and Africa (mainly), occasionally travelling to Kazakhstan and LATAM.
Client site is often located in offshore areas and night stays are included.
In between trips, the person is expected to visit the office in Cinisello Balsamo (MI) especially for F2F trainings with senior colleagues.

Key requirements• Pre-commissioning activities including system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and communication testing.• Clear understanding of control valve and flow measuring devices functioning.
Exhibit moderate understanding on sizing.
• Test and tune including machinery testing, control loop tuning and troubleshooting• Remote technical support, systems engineering support and troubleshooting• Prepare administrative (expenses, reports, etc.)
and aftermarket support• Exhibit moderate understanding of various plant processes.• Customer training• Collaborate with departments cross functionally to support the entire Lifecycle of our products and customer experience.Key skills and qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Automation, Electrical or Mechnanical).• 2+ years of previous work experience with turbo machinery control systems (Compressors, Steam / Gas Turbines, Expanders, Generators) and Process control.
Prior experience in Power Generation applications is a plus.• We are open to consider also newly graduates with a strong interest and motivation in the role and the industry.• Understand basic electrical principles.• Proficiency in computers and networking.
PC and PLC Programming skills are a plus.
• Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations to effectively complete specific projects and tasks.• Basic training skills preferred.• Experience with safety systems and / or TUV certified is a plus.• Ability to read, speak, and write fluently in English.
