For our own projects, we are looking for: FIELD MECHANICAL INSPECTOR Ref code: CR_2403-122_Field mechanical Inspector Job summary MISSION: Responsible for theinspection of the installation of mechanical systems, vents and ducts, heating and air conditioning equipment, gas piping, and gas-fired and oil-fired appliances.
Preparation of reports, maintaining records of work performed.
TASKS: Inspection: Conducting thorough inspections of mechanical equipment during fabrication / installations at project factory / site to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards; Quality Assurance: Monitoring and evaluating the quality of materials and workmanship during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases, identifying and addressing any non-conformances or deficiencies; Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of inspection activities, including reports, photographs, and test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation; Coordination: Coordinating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address inspection findings and ensure timely resolution of issues; Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices, conducting safety inspections and promoting a culture of safety awareness on site; Training and Guidance: Providing guidance and support to project teams and contractors on mechanical installation requirements, standards, and best practices.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 10+ years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector in the Oil Gas industry; Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment used in Oil Gas projects; Certification in inspection techniques and standards preferred.
Fluent level of written and spoken English.
