Job Title: Family Advocacy Program Education Coordinator Based at: US Army Camp Darby in Livorno, Italy Job Summary: Ladgov Corporation is searching for an educator who shall assist in providing FAP knowledge and technical guidance to the USAG Italy Command.
The educator shall assist in developing and publicizing information on the prevention of intimate partner and child abuse, and available services, and assist in planning and coordinating a broad Command education and awareness program.
The educator shall compile data, coordinate marketing of FAP educational resources and community events, schedule FAP training for the military components and family members and general community authorized support services, and maintain FAP.
Qualifications Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (from an accredited university) in one of the following fields: Social or behavioral health science.
Social or behavioral health education.
Community or public health.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in all of the following areas: Substance abuse counseling or behavioral counseling.
Family and children's services/advocacy.
Organization of community health programs.
Written and oral communication to senior leadership.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the following area: Family violence prevention.
Microsoft Office knowledge.
Duties Responsibilities: Community Resilience Events/Family Summits.
Anger/Stress Management.
Family violence prevention education.
Assist with Training/Skill Development in Positive Parenting and Couple's Communication.
Develop a community playgroup consisting of parents and infants up to 3 years of age or older, as appropriate.
Evaluation of program effectiveness/conduct surveys.
Assist with Family Advocacy Committee for FAP Program Evaluation.
Assist with administrative duties associated with the service delivery.
