A Day in the Life Are you eager to manage and innovate within our facilities to enhance the efficiency of our operations? This is an exciting opportunity for you if you are an experienced Facility Lead with a passion for optimizing equipment, machinery, and building facilities in a dynamic environment.
As Facility Lead, the main responsibilities will be to ensure, as an individual contributor, the continuity, efficiency and correct functioning of the plant utilities and to ensure the functionality and preventive and ordinary maintenance of the buildings according to internal procedures and current regulations.
Responsibilities Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion. Coordinate project planning and construction site management, ensuring the definition of times, costs, resources and the organization of the various project phases in compliance with current legislation on safety and the environment and site procedures. Definition and development of improvement projects for production areas, both external and internal, with related management of property renovation and/or expansion projects, promoting their energy efficiency in accordance with sustainability directives, selecting and managing contractors, suppliers, consultants, in collaboration with HSE. Guarantee the functionality of ordinary services including technical cleaning, heating, cooling of offices and production areas, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of buildings, green areas, electrical, hydraulic and thermal systems, managing procedures (authorisations/concessions/insurance requests) and relationships with Relevant public bodies (e.g. municipality, INAIL, province) promoting and implementing predictive maintenance plans for the utilities present (AHU, chillers, compressors, pressure tanks, lifting equipment, abatement/aspiration systems, fire prevention systems). Ensure the management of reporting relating to historical and forecast energy consumption relating to the supply of electricity, methane gas and water; supports the purchasing function in identifying the best market conditions. Creation of project-specific URS by collaborating with consultancy firms in the management of tenders, with interface and collaboration with EHS. Must Haves Master's degree in engineering disciplines (Civil, Environmental, etc.) or diploma in technical-scientific direction. Solid experience in large companies with complex structures in the areas of plant maintenance. Coming from the medical or pharmaceutical sector will be considered an added value. Good knowledge of the English language. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office and CAD 2D package. Strong sense of responsibility and autonomy.
