All Jobs > Facilities - Senior Electrician Tech The Senior Electrician Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, replacement and routine maintenance of electrical systems, fixtures, and related equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning equipment, appliances and apparatuses, ensuring quality and performance of equipment. Assembles, evaluates, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances and apparatuses. Ensures the provision of a stable and uninterrupted electrical supply to the Casino's facilities. Maintains compliance with established electrical codes and regulatory requirements. Performs a variety of new electrical installations in relation to facility expansion and/or remodeling projects. Installs receptacles, relocates light switches, and provides power for new HVAC systems. Maintains the Casino's lighting system and liaises with the Surveillance Department regarding specialty lighting requirements for surveillance cameras. Performs preventative maintenance on emergency generators, electrical switchgear, panels, and related equipment throughout Casino property. Maintains and troubleshoots existing electrical systems including emergency generators. Manage and monitors the Casino's electricity distribution system. Verifies the electrical load of new plans/equipment and conducts analysis to determine the impact on existing systems. Reviews blueprints and makes determinations on future electrical additions based on project requirements and previous installations. Oversees and monitors the quality of work performed by electrical contractors. Makes recommendations to Facilities Management regarding needed repairs. Uses all tools and equipment in a manner safe to self, other Team Members and guests. Other duties as directed by management. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time. This position is determined to have a potential for possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens. At times this position requires Team Members to work in all types of weather conditions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours. Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed. Must have 5 years combined experience as a journeyman electrician or equivalent combination of education and experience. State of Oregon Electrician's License is required. Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by TRCR's insurance company. Must have or obtain forklift and Genie Boom training/Certification within 6 months of date of hire. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means. Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing. Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission. Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events. #J-18808-Ljbffr
