ROLE: Senior Electrical Facilities Design and Project Manager Responsibilities Within the Central Facilities QMT organization, with full visibility at all Front End and Back End Manufacturing Sites in EMEA and Asia regions, we are in search of a skilled candidate who can enhance the technical proficiency and knowledge transfer within our Company by coaching, instructing, and mentoring fellow engineers.
Ensure that the Electrical Energy Supply and Distribution Systems across all manufacturing sites are designed, constructed, operated and maintained in compliance with the technical codes, environmental, health, safety (EHS) and regulatory standards applicable in the respective countries.
Develop, deploy and implement the Company Basis of Design standards for new plant/projects to ensure compliance to Company standard from the initial design phase.
Contribute to the continuous improvement process of the Company Standards and develop new standards when required.
Provide support and guidance to the Sites Facilities team to identify opportunities for reliability improvement establishing a roadmap for improvement in existing operations and maintenance procedure.
Lead for the Sites local projects from conceptual to feasibility, revamping and new Facilities projects including: Validation of the Scope of Works on Electrical systems.
Technical and economic evaluation and assessment of tenders.
Design validation: Review and approve Electrical design across all design stages, including conceptual, preliminary and detailed engineering.
Definition and monitoring of the schedule in alignment with cash flow.
Consolidate, keep updated and report at Central level the technical characteristics of the installed Electrical components and collect, examine, elaborate the information to support the definition of modernization plans and priorities.
Stay informed and updated on the latest technology and advancements in Electrical engineering field.
Provide to the investigation teams, expert troubleshooting and technical support on complex electrical issues.
Coordinate and collaborate in real-time with colleagues from various disciplines, taking a globally accountable and integrated approach.
Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to excel in a fast-paced team while managing multiple deadlines effectively.
Abilities Knowledge of industrial Electrical system design and construction, technical calculation basic skills; semiconductor experience is a strong plus.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation, such as design specifications and guidelines.
Ability to present technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders interfacing with managerial and senior engineer levels and across organizational lines.
Ability to analyse complex engineering problems and support effective solutions on problem solving.
Ability to identify potential risks in Facilities design, operations and maintenance and be able to develop mitigation strategies.
Willingness to learn and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
Knowledge of sustainable engineering practices and energy-efficient design principles.
Understanding of environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance requirements.
Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to work in a global environment.
Requirements Above 10 years' experience in large organization within the Semiconductor / Oil and Gas / Power Generation and Distribution / Chemical / Industrial Manufacturing / Metallurgical plant.
Demonstrated Involvements, in key role positions, in large and complex brownfield and greenfield construction projects.
Excellent abilities in reporting and synthesizing complex information.
Familiarity with international standards, technical codes and regulations pertinent to the role.
Master's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Industrial Engineering.
Ability to work independently with few directions and supervision.
Good negotiation and emotional intelligence skills.
Experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
Demonstrated leadership in driving projects to successful completion.
Others Mandatory: Fluent English, French is a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently to different manufacturing sites as required.
Experience in previous Projects in Semiconductor is a plus.
