F&B Manager | Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel Grand Hotel Timeo , a Belmond Hotel in Sicily is searching for a talented F&B Manager to join our team of passionate professionals. Reporting to the General Manager and with a dotted line to the Divisional Director of F&B, you will be responsible for identifying and rolling out the required actions to ensure our Restaurants & Bars operate at their full potential, providing an outstanding experience for our guests. The scope of the role includes the design and execution of new concepts in line with the positioning of the property, the development and roll out of action plans to maximize guest satisfaction and the financial return of each restaurant and bar. The position is based in Taormina, Sicily and the contract is permanent and full time. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy / EU. Main responsibilities: Responsible for delivering the F&B related activities and in achieving or exceeding the hotel targets in terms of guest satisfaction, quality assurance and financial metrics; Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards; Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service; Responsible for creation and delivery of the short- and long-term F&B plans and strategies; Design exceptional and innovative restaurant conceptions, purchase goods, china, etc and continuously make necessary improvements; Identify customers' needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns; Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel; Establish targets, KPI's, schedules, policies and procedures; Maintain positive customer relationships, process complaints, and respond to customer needs; Responsible for the implementation of any F&B-related projects and global programs; Identify opportunities and develop solutions to enhance the performance for all F&B aspects and operation, such as LQA and guest experience; Guide and train the team of heads and line staff in the efficient delivery of providing the highest standards of service to our guests; Monitor food and safety regulations; Responsible for the planning and operation of events and banquets; Create, monitor and enforce restaurant policies, targets, and KPIs; Coordinate the emails and restaurant bookings; Lead by example and act as a role model for others, exhibiting the highest levels of professionalism in all management practices; Requirements: Dynamic, curious and exhibits a passion for excellence; 5 years' work experience in a similar role in the luxury hospitality business; International experience in F&B will be considered a plus; Hotel school degree or similar; Strong knowledge of F&B trends and best practices in the luxury F&B business; Excellent written & verbal command of English; Ability to solve problems efficiently; Excellent communication and leadership skills; Emotional intelligence, interpersonal and influencing skills; Organizational skills; Guest oriented; Working for such an extraordinary hotel is the opportunity to build a career with a real sense of pride and caring, in an environment that embraces the essence of the art of hospitality.
