**Position**:
The Eyewear CAD designer will oversee the study and design of the various collections, defining the technical projects in every detail and providing all the information relating to the bill of materials (BOM) and marking plans.
**Job responsibilities**:
- Providing 2D and 3D Eyewear Design with particular attention to the industrialization
- Drafting of marking plans and bills of materials in collaboration with the Material Engineer
- Working on a "Design to Cost" and "Design for Assembling" perspective in collaboration with the Buyer
- Making a timely risk analysis on new projects in collaboration with the QA Engineer
- Defining the technical details and the time scheduled for all the prototypes internally made, taking care of providing non-standard materials (acetates, lenses, hinges)
**Profile**:
- 7+ years experience in similar positions
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D programs (Autocad, Rhino, Catia)
- In-depth knowledge of the use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint etc.
)
- Fluent in Italian and English (French will be considered a plus);
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
- Successfully able to handle multiple demands and priorities in a fast pace environment;
