External Funding Program Manager
Identify and drive External Funding opportunities to support local industrial investments, R&D programs and Innovation projects and grow business know-how, competitiveness, and performance.
Manage External Funding relationships with Funding Authorities from program identification up to program submission and Grant Agreement signature.
Main Responsabilities
Support External Funding Strategy in coordination with Business Development and Public Affairs, Engineering and Innovation organizations
Develop documentation to support Italy MD, Sales, Business Development and Public Affairs in promoting Alstom capabilities and development roadmap when meeting key institutional representatives/authorities
Monitor regional/national/European External Funding opportunities and match them with internal needs to support investments, R&D and Innovation projects
Ensure timely preparation and completion of funding related documentation (legal, reporting or others) with the highest quality in a high-pressure environment when reports need to be submitted (deadline to be met)
The job involves coordination with various external (universities, funding authorities, consultants ) and internal (R&D Teams, Finance, Legal, Communication, Procurement ) partners
Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure grant-related activities are completed and compliant with external funding requirements
Coordinate regular meetings with project participants.
Coordinate communication aspects such as dissemination plans (in collab with Comm team).
Manage External Funding relationships with Funding Authorities from program identification up to program submission and evaluation (technical and administrative/financial plan) and Grant Agreement signature
Be the country point of contact for European Funding & tender opportunities (e.g., Single Electronic Data Interchange Area (SEDIA))
Support post-award projects audit and follow-up as agreed case by case with the business MD and the Innovation Director
**Mandatory**:
Bachelor or Master's degree in Economics or Engineering
5-7 years' experience
Railway/mobility products, systems and industry trends/dynamics
Experience with the rules and management of Regional, National and/or EU projects for External Funding
Competencies & Skills
Familiar with external funding rules and management (IPCEI, Regional and National incentives)
Understanding of the technical scope of Investments, Innovation and Research Programs
Tender and Project management
Open minded and persevering while being collaborative
Organizational agility in a matrix environment
Communication and interpersonal skills to be able to credibly interact with internal and external stakeholders and build trust relationship
Team working
Fluent English
