This role is designed for a professional with a foundational understanding of Acquiring POS processes and applications. As an EXPERT TECHNICAL ANALYST, you will support the manager and work with team colleagues in internal and external resource management, contributing to the requirements definition, analysis, planning, and implementation of all initiatives on GT POS. You will also coordinate and manage the application maintenance, testing, and release of the applications above. The Team The mission is to guarantee high levels of service, ensuring best e2e service to Nexi Merchants in the Italian markets, so the security requirements, the evolution, and maintenance needed for GT POS are our priority. The overall scope of Digital Merchant Service Solutions Team includes: POS e2e Services and Application: POS onboarding and lifecycle management; POS management and authorization; and POS settlement processes Merchant Portals for transaction reporting, dispositions, or upselling of new products/services Your key responsibilities in this role will be: Needs & Requirements analysis: Detailed analysis of business requirements, interacting with the different stakeholders of Business Lines, in order to properly address and design implementation solutions and identify potential improvement or efficiency areas. Solution Design: Solution Design, in e2e integration with Legacy and Target Nexi POS applications, with the aim of creating value to business and processes; evaluate PROs-CONs of different solutions to support decision making, design the more efficient solution with a high level of automation. Solution implementation: Drive and support the entire software lifecycle, from the definition of functional/technical analysis to testing and deployment of the implementation; define Coding Best Practices and create proofs-of-concept (POCs). Transformation management: Opportunities and risks analysis of transformation, acting for impacts reduction and providing proper tools and communication for change management. KPI, Monitoring of provided services and Continuous Improvement: Analyze and monitor service levels of managed applications, identifying areas of improvement and performing root cause problem solving. Service and Incident Management: Managing/monitoring AM tickets, providing technical support in troubleshooting and problem solving. What makes you the best person for this job? Qualifications needed to be successful in this role: Deep knowledge of processes of accepting and processing payments from a Point of Sale (physical and virtual terminals). Deep knowledge of POS specifications: - BANCOMAT protocol specifications - ISO 8583 international standard Knowledge of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Know-how of: SQL with Oracle (mainly query optimization) Unix/Linux skills (related to the operations on Unix-based operating systems, which require proficiency in the command-line tools) Microsoft Office skills.
