**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The Corporate Meetings & Events Team is part of J.P. Morgan's larger Firmwide Events structure, responsible for delivering best in class events and programs for a range of clients inside and outside the firm. The team is in close partnership with colleagues across all lines of business, manages the entire event planning process from conception through event completion.
As an Events Management Analyst within the Corporate Meetings & Events Team, you will engage with a broad range of business partners within the Firm. You will work closely with other team members to strategically plan and manage various aspects of hospitality events, conferencing or other client related functions. In addition you will be responsible for data maintenance, registration management, and vendor management.
**Responsibilities**:
- Partner with various team members on multiple programs and tasks to deliver event-related projects.
- Support the Event Managers with different aspects of event planning and execution including, but not limited to, venue research; data maintenance and integrity; internal and external communications; invitation creation, testing and distribution; manage attendee registration; on-site staffing and support; post-event tasks, such as inputting budgets and supporting debrief; formatting of speaker slides.
- Manage attendee management tasks, e.g., manage, review, and reconcile reports (Invitee registration, RSVPs, seating assignments, transfer reports etc.); managing event supplies and shipping; promotional item research and ordering; managing audio visual requirement; and tasks related to production of print materials (name badges, tent cards, and other printed items); managing the event calendars.
- Collaborate with other planners on event data and analyses, as well as assist in the development and reconciliation of event budgets.
- Adhere to internal policy and the mandatory processes around strategic corporate meetings and events including procedures with regards to budget approval, reporting activities and spend, compliance regulations, approval processes and ensuring appropriate documentation is in place.
- Deliver J.P. Morgan event standards at every level.
**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
- 1 + years of experience in event planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
- Ability to liaise with all levels of hierarchy from PA level through to management and high level external clients
- Team player with excellent multitasking skills and able to thrive on the challenge of competitive pressures while remaining focused on prioritized tasks.
- Self-motivated, proactive team player with strong work ethic and demonstrated initiative.
- Highly organized and detail oriented. Demonstrates creative problem-solving.
- Skillful in Microsoft suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. basic formatting), Word (i.e., mail merge is a plus)
- Ability to trouble shoot and exemplify a positive attitude and commitment to success.
- Ability to demonstrate utmost discretion and professionalism at all times
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills**:
- Knowledge of graphic systems (i.e. Canva) is a preference.
