**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
Event Services is the functional area, within the Organizing Committee for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games (Olympics and Paralympics), that is in charge to plan, design and provide a safe and welcoming visit to all ticketed events at the official competition venues and other services to accredited stakeholders.
The Event Services Venue Planner is a dynamic leader who will lead the venue planning and operations for a specific Games Time venue.
The Venue Planner will manage and lead a volunteer and paid staff workforce to deliver the front of house operations to ensure a memorable experience for all.
This role is integral to guarantee the smooth delivery of the operational plan and will monitor and report on the day-to-day activities.
The Venue Planner is a key member of the Event Services team and larger Venue Event Team for event delivery and on venue issue resolution.
He/She will:
- Be responsible for the implementation of venue Event Services operations plans for a specific venue;
- Complete and track progress of the Master Schedule items;
- Monitor progress of venue planning with a focus on risk issues;
- Manage the Event Services venue operating plans for consistency across the Games venues;
- Train, coach and mentor Event Services Deputy Venue Planners, paid staff and volunteers in the specific duties of their jobs;
- Adhere to the services levels, policies, and procedures; identify gaps, overlaps and synergies;
- Define staffing plans, strategies, and deployments across a specific venue;
- Work closely with the Event Venue Team Functional Areas key planners to ensure optimal Games Time operations;
- Represent Event Services at Venue Event Team meetings;
- The Venue Planner will be supported in the issues escalation process by the Cluster Manager and Event Services Central Team.

- University degree;
- Ability to manage numerous tasks with a high level of detail at the same time;
- Ability to lead a team as well as be a team player when led by others;
- Ability to work under pressure and under tight timelines;
- Specific knowledge on crowd management and movement strategies;
