Spring Studios Milan, part of a global creative and production agency network specializing in supporting fashion, luxury, beauty, and lifestyle brands, is seeking a talented Events and Experience Director .
This role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in multinational events agencies, with a strong background in events and activations for luxury and fashion clients.
The Event Director will be responsible for leading the event strategy, planning, and execution for a variety of clients.
This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in event management, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to drive creative concepts from ideation to execution.
The Event Director will collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure every event is a success.
RESPONSIBILITIES Develop the "Event & Experience" business unit: Lead the growth and development of the unit by creating innovative event strategies that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
Strategic Planning and Execution: Define event goals, target audiences, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
Develop detailed proposals for events (including decks, timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, and budgets).
Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring their vision is realized.
Provide expert guidance throughout the event planning process.
Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to conceptualize unique and innovative event themes, designs, and experiences.
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of events, including budgeting, scheduling, logistics, and on-site management.
Team Management: Manage existing staff and identify new talents needed for project execution.
Provide comprehensive briefings and oversee the team's work.
Financial Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Vendor Management: Assist in sourcing and negotiating with vendors and suppliers.
Ensure all insurance, legal, and safety obligations are met.
Requirements: Sector Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the luxury, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle sectors, with proven experience as an event producer.
Management Skills: Skilled in project management, understanding KPIs and marketing techniques for event management.
Knowledge of business principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office and project management tools.
Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities, customer-service orientation, problem-solving skills, and team leadership.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in PR, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
Equivalent professional experience in the luxury, fashion, or beauty industries will also be considered.
Languages: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other languages, such as Italian or French, is a plus.
