Customers of Montel are big energy consumers, energy producers, regulators, traders, consultants, authorities, media, and others.Job LocationThis role is focused on the Italian markets, therefore it is our preference that this role would be based in Italy.
There will be a requirement for some European travel to meet the needs of customers, attend events and develop strong working relationships with colleagues.????
A typical day will include:Prospect and qualify new sales leads across the UK and continental European energy markets, using a combination of telesales, email and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.Follow up in-bound enquiries, qualifying leads and running the sales process from start to finish.Manage existing accounts for the purposes of subscription renewals and upselling of additional products.Schedule system demonstrations with sales prospects (to be delivered by the candidate for easily accessible products and by subject matter experts for complex platform products.Track sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects.Meet and/or exceed sales quotas.Attend conferences and trade events to represent the Montel Group and network with industry experts.Coordinate with other team members and departments across Montel to optimise the sales effort.Starting roles will be tailored by reference to these activities and the specific sales experience and general aptitude of the successful candidates.
What we are looking for:CRM and sales pipeline management experience.Excellent interpersonal skills.Highly self-motivated.Strong communication skills.Proficient in MS Office and working knowledge / awareness of CRM and subscription management system.A basic understanding of energy markets would be beneficial but not essential - as would a second European language.Willingness to travel (European) to meet the needs of the business.
