Position Overview: COSVITEC is a Research and VET center, born in 2001 in Naples, Italy as a Consortium constituted by public universities and SMEs.
We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced EU Project Manager to oversee the implementation of European projects within our organization.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of EU funding mechanisms, a proven track record in managing complex projects, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders at international level.
As an EU Project Manager, you will be responsible for the effective coordination, execution, and reporting of EU-funded initiatives, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations, reporting directly to the management of the EU Projects Department.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management & Coordination: Coordinate the implementation of EU-funded projects, under the supervision of the management of the EU Projects Department, ensuring activities are carried out in accordance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop and monitor project plans, risk assessments, and work packages.
Coordinate project teams, partners, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Ensure effective communication between project partners, consortium members, and internal teams.
Financial & Administrative Oversight: Control project budgets, financial reports, and compliance with EU financial regulations.
Prepare and submit progress reports, deliverables, and financial documentation as required by the funding bodies.
Coordinate audits and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the organization at consortium meetings, workshops, and external events.
Actively contribute to stakeholder dissemination, networking, and promotion activities.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing EU-funded projects (e.g., Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg).
Demonstrated understanding of EU project life cycles with particular reference to implementation and reporting.
Experience working with European Commission tools (e.g., funding and tenders platform) and monitoring systems.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in English (additional European languages are an asset).

Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management tools, and financial software.
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
