Description:
We offer an engaging traineeship in European Project Design and Fundraising , focused on supporting the development of grant proposals and managing fundraising strategies for innovative projects. The selected candidate works closely with the business development and finance teams to research European funding opportunities, draft proposals for programs such as Horizon Europe or EIC Accelerator , and assist in the submission of applications. Additionally, the role includes analyzing project budgets and ensuring alignment with funding guidelines. This is an opportunity for candidates who are passionate about European project management and eager to gain hands-on experience in the preparation of successful grant applications.
Candidates' Ideal Profile:
Educational Background:
Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in European Studies, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Technical Skills:
Familiarity with European funding programs (e.g., Horizon Europe, EIC, LIFE) and their application processes. Strong skills in budget analysis, financial reporting, and cost estimation for projects. Excellent research abilities to identify relevant funding opportunities and eligibility criteria. Proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) for financial tracking and budget planning. Learning and Development:
Strong interest in European project design and fundraising strategies, with a focus on grant applications and project financing. Ability to independently manage tasks such as proposal writing, budgeting, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with European funding guidelines. Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, finance, and project management, to ensure the timely submission of high-quality proposals. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather the necessary information for project submissions. Daily Tasks:
Research and identify new European funding opportunities relevant to ongoing and future projects. Assist in the preparation and writing of grant proposals , ensuring alignment with funding objectives and requirements. Support the development of project budgets , analyzing costs and ensuring financial accuracy. Collaborate with teams to gather necessary information and documentation for proposal submission . Monitor deadlines for upcoming calls and ensure timely submission of all required materials. Document the application process and provide feedback for improving future proposals.
