As part of the European Team, we seek a skilled Process Engineer to oversee the process performance of our Industrial Gases plants (air separation, CO2 purification, hydrogen production, and others).
Reporting to the Director Productivity – Bulk Operations Europe, he/she will provide support to the countries in which we operate, working in an international environment, and traveling to our locations as necessary. The successful candidate will be able to improve our industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability.
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Monitor on a constant basis the process and performance of the plants. Arrange meetings with Production Managers to assess existing processes. Production planning: decision support tools implementation. Drafting process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates. Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data. Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes. Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes. Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output. Perform process simulations, optimization tests, and troubleshooting issues. Manage cost and time constraints. Perform risk assessments, ensure processes comply with safety and quality standards. Provide process documentation and standard operating procedures. Technical support to production facilities; ensure the technical integrity of plants and new projects; advise on process safety issues, and commission new installations. Provide Process Training to Operators and other plant personnel. Job Requirements
Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering. Experience in Process Engineering, working with process simulations and standard operating procedures. Knowledge of process engineering and data analytics software. Excellent technical skills. CAD or AutoCAD skills. Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills. Familiarity with health/safety regulations.
