Location: San Giorgio in Bosco (PD)
Technical education background, University degree or equivalent (e.g. in Mechanical Engineering, Package Engineering)
Knowledge of glass packaging, metal caps, as well related secondary & tertiary packaging
Knowledge of related processes
3 years of experience in Operation or R&D in the supported product category (water & beverage)
Proficiency in English and Italian is a must (nice to have French)
Position Summary
Provide expertise and support to the factories in line with Zone EUR and Business priorities:
Renovate & customize packaging
Validate sustainable packaging solutions
Industrialize glass bottles, metal caps as well related secondary & tertiary packaging
Provide Expert Support for industrial related processes (i.e. capping)
Lead packaging project management activities
Identify, perform or support packaging projects with the following objectives: packaging material harmonization and standardization, sustainability projects, cost optimization, Packaging adaptation to new regulation, packaging and process optimization, new suppliers homologations, new packaging/technologies industrialization
Support documentation and deploy Manufacturing Standards (NWSM)
A Day in the Life of the Packaging Specialist
Leads Renovation projects for ZEUR market products, from the development brief till the launch:
develop/adapt new glass bottles
Introduce sustainable packaging
define technical project planning
deliver in compliance to timing, cost, regulatory requirement, industrial line processes and Nestlé standards;
Test, validate and industrialize packaging for the ZEUR market;
Issue related report and technical documentation
Own, issue and maintain centralized packaging homologation procedures
Packaging materials specifications editor
Supports the "Deploy" of new products and technologies aligned with Zone priorities
Manage the Renovation projects assigned dealing with all the related functions : Manufacturing Support Groups, Factories, Marketing, Purchasing, Regulatory, Suppliers, NPTC…Ensures deployment of standards to factories
Promotes Packaging Knowledge transfer across Z-ZEUR factories
What will make you successful?
A solid packaging industry experience (Water, beverages packaging expert, Blowing / Injection Process expert)
Project Management experience
Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams (with or without direct reports) in international environments
Ability to work as a team
