Context Within Globecast, the Global Engineering Direction is responsible for anticipating, designing and deploying technical solutions for customers and employees of the Globecast group, worldwide.
It is organized around centers of expertise (Cloud Media Services, Networks IT & Security and Infrastructures) and transversal centers (Projects & Integration, Project Management Office).
Within the Global Engineering Direction, the Cloud Media Services department consists of around forty employees, in France and the UK, spread across the teams:
Content Management & IntegrationCloud Media brings together so-called "linear" activities: video acquisition (contribution, ingest), processing (encoding, transcoding and packaging), delivery (distribution, OTT), management of the CloudMediaHub, orchestration on the perimeter. On cloud or on-premises solutions.
The Cloud Event Media team brings together the French ad-hoc activities (management of live sport events such as football League 1, PMU, AFCON, Olympics Games…) and an integrated adhoc/permanent team in the UK.
Content Management & Integration brings together so-called "non-linear" content management activities, as well as the integration of SaaS solutions from our media partners: Production, Media Asset Management, playout, Captive Audience products, Cinema Delivery, Content Exchange.
The 3 teams address all of our customers, contribution and permanent.
The international dimension of the team is intended to extend to the rest of Europe (Italy), as well as to the World teams (Asia, South Africa, US).

I am looking for a motivated manager for the Cloud Event Media Engineering team to lead the transformation internally and with our clients. It is made up of around twenty people, in France and the UK. Its missions are as follows:
Your missions and those of your department: Managing teams on a daily basisLead and support the transformationManage the strategy of our media solutions and infrastructures at the global levelCarry out the technical transformation in a homogeneous manner in all regions, in conjunction with MarketingPrioritize projects that create the most value for GlobecastSimplify, at the global level, infrastructures and technical solutions, linked to MarketingDevelop automation and orchestrationContinue migration and upskilling on the cloudImplement integrated team operation / DevOpsThe activities of your teams: Manage the strategy of our Media solutions and infrastructures at the global levelMap, simplify and standardize technical solutions within its scopeParticipate in the two main areas of activity: permanent or occasional activities (events)Design, implement and maintain infrastructures, solutions and tools in operational conditionBeing in contact with our customers on technical subjects, whether during the pre-sales, project or support phasesProvide 24/7 L2/3 support to the European Service Center teamsManage relationships with suppliers and partners: technological monitoring, developments, incident monitoringSysOps and FinOps roles within its scopeImplement orchestration and automation tools in your domainManage major transformation projects: platform migration to cloud or virtualized solutionsRequired profile SKILLS Experienced manager, previous experience of international teams, in a context of strong transformationEngineering degree or similar experienceYou have experience in the areas of design, deployment of infrastructures and media servicesKnowledge of the ecosystem and technology partners in the media fieldYou have knowledge of IT and Cloud technologiesYou are comfortable in a complex technical environment (a skills development phase will be organized)Project managementMore: You are familiar with or open to Agile/DevOps methodsExperience in the ad-hoc activityKnow-how Demonstrate leadershipTeam spirit, ability to work cross-functionallyCustomer orientation and concrete resultsYou are pragmatic, rigorous and autonomousBe organized, know how to prioritize and make decisionsStrength of proposalAdaptability and responsivenessExcellent listening and communication skillsStrategic visionKnow how to implement the company's strategyOccasional travel may occur given the international dimension of the position.
