Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment Consulting is searching for an international Food Ingredients Company with a global network of plants, sales offices, and RD centres for the position of General Manager Food Ingredients Europe.Location: Northern Italy (onsite)This is a Business-to-Business job.
Please apply only if you have experience in flavours, colours, extracts, dried fruit and vegetables, and other value-added food ingredients, and not in FMCG or HORECA.ResponsibilitiesYou will be in charge of sales, marketing, customer service, manufacturing, supply chain, RD, and NPD.You are a specialist in food ingredients.Develop strategies and formulate an annual business plan, including market share objectives.You are able to lead a larger team, including finance, operations, sales business development, RD, and NPD.Develop, lead, and manage all commercial activities of the business and implement an innovative, growth-focused commercial strategy, focusing primarily on new product areas and emerging markets.Ensure that profitable business growth is accelerated and that commercial success is achieved.Drive the entire business operations for the food business with a focus on top-line and bottom-line performance, increasing revenues and augmenting profitability.You speak, besides English, other local languages like Italian.RequirementsMBA from a reputed institute.15-20 years of work experience in the Food B2B industry.Experience in a GM position in Europe for food ingredients.You are a multicultural personality and enjoy solving problems.You are willing to travel 50% of your time.
