Mission RINA is looking for an R&D Project and Proposal Manager with experience in EU and National funding programs to be included in the Aerospace & Defence R&D Unit to support the preparation of research programs and proposals.
1-3 years of experience are requested.
Knowledge of the Aerospace and Defense sector, including Aviation, Naval/Underwater, Land and Space operating areas represents a preferential title.
Job Responsabilties The candidate will refer to the "Aerospace & Defence R&D" Unit and will have strong interactions with other homologous functions across the different Business Lines in RINA.
Her/his main role will be the coordination of research project proposals preparation, including: Proposal writing Creation of project concepts and definition of strategic objectives Impact assessment and strategic positioning of innovation Workplan definition and GANTT Chart preparation Strategic definition of consortia Budgeting The selected candidate will join a young and dynamic environment, in which R&D projects are in synergies with industrial objectives of the company, and the results are heavily impacting the development of the company portfolio and thus the businesses development.

We are looking for a person with: 1 - 3 years' experience from a University degree in scientific/ technological field, with previous experience in proposal preparation and/or participation to Research funded projects (HORIZON, RFCS, EDF, national/regional).
A scientific degree, preferably in Engineering (Aeronautical - Naval - Industrial - Chemical - Mechanical - Biomedical - Electronic, or Management Engineering) with a solid academic background is mandatory.
PhD will be considered a plus.
Advanced knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point.
Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
Availability to travel in Europe on short-mid-term assignments.
A technical scientific background Expertise in HORIZON, EDF, National and regional R&D projects is considered an asset, particularly for topics dealing with high-priority sectors (Aviation, Naval/Underwater, Land and Space) where the candidate will operate, such as Electromagnetic Compatibility, Cyber and Physical Security, Critical infrastructure protection, AI Development, SW and HW engineering, Modelling & Simulation, HMI, Manned-unmanned teaming, On-board equipment, System tests, Validation&Verification, GALILEO GNSS, Satellite imagery and Earth Observation.
