We are looking for a Senior Estimator with EPC experience to join our team; This position is responsible for the overall implementation and direction of the cost estimate for the assigned Project/Proposal and the supporting documentation to Company management. In responding to estimating requests, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring that departmental and company requirements are met.
This position may direct the quantitative development of material, labor, and subcontract take-offs, as well as the coordination of information among Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Maintenance.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop the estimate plan Coordinate estimate development with the proposal team Lead the development of the total project estimate Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate Prepare the Estimate Uncertainty Analysis Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements
Accredited Engineering degree in Chemical or Mechanical field of study At least 6 years of work-related experience in Oil & Gas, Energy & Chemicals Ability to communicate effectively with audiences Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job Ability to learn and apply knowledge Ability to attend to detail Ability to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Other Job Requirements:
Stay abreast of current estimating techniques by maintaining expertise Be active in knowledge management Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of field experience in EPC Previous working experience as a construction estimator for 2 years Demonstrate strong technical ability Strong communicative skills Knowledgeable about Lump Sum and/or Cost Reimbursable estimating Critical thinker and problem solver Knowledgeable about Construction Management Execution Familiar with currency fluctuation and tax costs Good analytical and computer skills Living in Europe and willing to relocate to Italy #J-18808-Ljbffr
