We are looking for a Senior Estimator with EPC experience to join our team;
This position is responsible for the overall implementation and direction of the cost estimate for the assigned Project/Proposal and the supporting documentation to Company management. In responding to estimating requests, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring that departmental and company requirements are met.
This position may direct the quantitative development of material, labor, and subcontract take-offs, as well as the coordination of information among Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Maintenance.
Main Responsibilities:Develop the estimate planCoordinate estimate development with the proposal teamLead the development of the total project estimatePrepare the total Project Basis of EstimatePrepare the Estimate Uncertainty AnalysisOther duties as assigned Basic Job RequirementsAccredited Engineering degree in Chemical or Mechanical field of studyAt least 6 years of work-related experience in Oil & Gas, Energy & ChemicalsAbility to communicate effectively with audiencesJob-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the jobAbility to learn and apply knowledgeAbility to attend to detailAbility to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Other Job Requirements:Stay abreast of current estimating techniques by maintaining expertiseBe active in knowledge management Preferred QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of field experience in EPCPrevious working experience as a construction estimator for 2 yearsDemonstrate strong technical abilityStrong communicative skillsKnowledgeable about Lump Sum and/or Cost Reimbursable estimatingCritical thinker and problem solverKnowledgeable about Construction Management ExecutionFamiliar with currency fluctuation and tax costsGood analytical and computer skillsLiving in Europe and willing to relocate to Italy
