Position summary The ERP System Manager will work closely with the Accounting/Finance, R&D and Manufacturing organizations to provide technical day to day and project support for JD Edwards Enterprise One, SAP Concur and other ERP/MRP back office corporate systems. This role is a partner to the business responsible for driving standard processes and expanded capabilities of JD Edwards Enterprise One to serve the company as well as our partners and vendors. This individual manages and defines deliverables for development and integration performed by any resources, specifically contractors and consultants. This role reports to the Global Director of IT and Cyber Security.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Configure and manage JD Edwards E1 based on business needs. Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and other teams to gather requirements and document processes. Design workflows, data validation, and triggers for Accounting and Manufacturing operations. Support integrations between JD Edwards E1 and other platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Concur, Avalara). Maintain strong cross-functional relationships and ensure documentation is updated with system changes. Monitor new JD Edwards features, drive process improvements, and keep stakeholders informed. Provide technical support, ensuring SLA compliance, and troubleshooting with vendors when needed. Ensure adherence to ISO 27001 and TISAX standards during system changes. Lead ad hoc projects, prioritize tasks, and manage JD Edwards projects. Create and execute test cases, supporting user acceptance testing and release processes. Implement third-party solutions as required and support potential ERP migrations. Work with R&D and IT Security to ensure system integrity and respond to security audits and vulnerabilities. Support finance audit processes and manage external/internal penetration testing with actionable mitigation plans. Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related or equivalent experience. Graduate degree in Information System or Computer Science. A minimum of 5 years of related work experience administering enterprise systems required; A minimum of 3 years of experience as a JD Edwards E1 Administrator or JD Edwards E1 Consultant required. Prior leadership of an ERP analysis and development team. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead technical projects, effect change, and improve process Thorough Understanding of JD Edwards E1, Sales Order Management, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Multi-Currency, and Intercompany Transactions. Ability to work independently, while being a collaborative member of the team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English. Strong customer orientation focus and success in creating a superior customer experience. Ability to mentor peers in areas of expertise. Demonstrated success in displaying passion, drive, adaptability, and innovation. Ability to organize and lead multiple, and at times contending priorities. Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems or resolve issues in a timely manner. Maintain the security and confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive data. Proficient in the MS Office Suite. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization. Consistent track record of success in building solid working relationships within various areas/business functions of the company. Location Italy.
