**Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years.
We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
The Equipment Maintenance Specialist will be part of the Facilities & Maintenance Team and will interact and collaborate with production and maintenance Supervisors and Team Leaders to improve maintenance service also in collaboration with machine makers, monitor Maintenance KPIs and support the auditing process in partnership with manufacturing engineers.
**Essential Responsibilities**
- Give technical support to improve performance for presetting and measurement machines, interacting with internal maintenance technicians and engineer and machine makers point of reference
- Monitor maintenance KPIs and plant KAI, through machine stop or breakdown data to support preventive and programmed maintenance activities
- Support internal and external auditing process
- Collaborate across the plant with production and manufacturing
- Be involved with projects related in maintenance improvement
**Qualification/Requirements***
- High School Technical Diploma with solid and consistent experience in Maintenance Operations
- Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical or industrial
- Knowledge and ability to read of technical drawing
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- SAP Knowledge
- Fluent Italian and Good English both oral and written
- Knowledge of Autonomous Maintenance and Professional Maintenance
- Experience with Lean and WCM
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
