Main responsibilities: Driving environmental reporting of scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. In particular, responsible for internal calculation of scope 1 & 2 and being the key contact person with the external consultants for the definition of our annual scope 3 emissions. Supporting the team in providing environmental data for annual reporting, in line with the CSRD legislation, TCFD and EU taxonomy. Supporting the team, later on, on the integration of the environmental aspects within our supply chain risk assessment and audit process, also in line with the upcoming CSDDD legislation. Definition and implementation of SMC environmental strategy, supporting SMC teams involved in the achievement of objectives set. This includes both decarbonization/climate change (as a priority) and a water assessment and strategy (later on). Leading annual SBTi and CDP reporting and monitoring process towards objectives. Leading the process for the definition of a SBT for Nature. Background and competences: Degree in environmental studies. Previous at least 4 years working experience on climate change, decarbonization, water impacts and biodiversity, preferably in a consulting company. Previous experience in the fashion industry is a plus. Strong analytical background in data management and analysis, but also strong communication skills and ability to transmit complex and technical information in a simple way. Project management and operational skills. Excellent knowledge of the main information systems (MS office, ERP and other IT systems are a plus). Fluent in English and Italian, French is a plus.
