Environmental Consultant - Environmental Impact Assessment & Permitting ERM Italia is growing and looking for a motivated Junior Consultant with experience in Environmental Impact Assessment and Permitting to join our successful Capital Projects Delivery team.

For this role we offer flexible working arrangements and, although our main office is in Milan, we are able to accept applications from candidates based anywhere in Italy.
RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting and helping manage large, multidisciplinary, national or international projects such as renewables, hydrogen, CCSU, diversified energy and infrastructure projects. Contribute technical, subject matter or project management expertise on permitting strategies, due diligence reviews, and impact assessment deliverables (EIA, ESHIA, VIA). Demonstrating strong analytical skills, excellent writing, and presentation skills. REQUIREMENTS Motivated to proactively contribute to a team environment, and share knowledge, skills, and ideas. Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, engineering or related field. 1-3 years of experience in a consulting environment and strong knowledge of permitting practices at national level. EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) experience. Excellent language skills (English and Italian mandatory). Excellent report writing, data collation and management/presentation skills. Geographic Information System experience is a plus. Enthusiasm, initiative, flexibility, and a desire to work in a growing team.
