Your new role As our new environmental consultant based in the Ramboll Milan office, you will be part of our successful team composed of geologists, engineers, geotechnical experts, environmental scientists, chemists, biologists, etc.
working together in an international network for a variety of projects regarding mainly contaminated site management, expert services, permitting, due diligence, impact assessment, water treatment, health and safety, climate risk, and sustainability.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: Design of site investigations and remediation Support on field data collection, from a geotechnical and environmental point of view Data analysis and elaboration Support in geotechnical design Drafting of technical reports Proposal and reporting in Italian or English language About you For this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success.
These include: Candidates should have a B.Sc.
or M.Sc.
(3/5 yrs) degree in environmental science, earth sciences, environmental engineering or similar Relevant experience in site characterisation and remediation, as well as geotechnical characterisation Ideally proficient user of ArcGIS (or similar software) Experience of field work and data analysis Ability to define a site conceptual model Capable of producing clear and concise written documents in Italian language (mother tongue) Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English Availability for daily/weekly business trips Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include being highly organized and able to work efficiently and effectively to deadlines on designated tasks; demonstrated attention to details and a high level of accuracy; academic rigor; and being a self-motivated, reliable, and dedicated individual.
