Entry-Level General Military Intelligence AnalystThis developmental (entry-level) position with a full performance grade of GG-12, serves as an general military intelligence analyst in the Middle East and/or Africa.
RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze intelligence information to assess land-warfare forces and operations within the Middle East and/or Africa.Develop and maintain awareness of state and non-state/unconventional foreign military forces, capabilities, operations, trends, and threats within assigned geographic and functional areas.Support the research of multi-discipline intelligence information and data and contribute to the evaluation of collected information.Participate in research projects, contribute to development of analytic objectives and project scope, and identify and apply advanced research and analytical methods.Prepare all-source written intelligence products to fulfill customer requirements in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and formats.Provide support to and conduct intelligence briefings on the assigned geographic and functional areas to DoD, Army, and Intelligence Community customers.Assist with developing responses to requests for information and other customer requirements.QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on an SBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).Must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.Temporary Duty (TDY) travel may be required, up to 10% of the time.You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
