You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command of NAVAL FAC ENGR CMD EUROPE SW ASIA. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Adapting boiler maintenance, operational and inspection procedures to inspect boiler and unfired pressure vessels (UPV); Interpreting trade practices, different manufacturers, boiler types, and systems relevant to mechanical, plumbing, and piping industries to support boiler operations and maintenance; Recommending corrective action for needed repair and maintenance of various boiler types and systems (e.g., hot water boilers, steam heating, European Spec'ed boilers and components); Reviewing engineering construction drawings and specifications to solve complex technical problems.
