We are seeking an **Engineering Team Leader** eager to join our Team in Varisco Product Company, Atlas Copo Padova.
Varisco is a well-established and ever-expanding company.
It manufactures pumps, both for dewatering and industrial use.
In 2016 Varisco was acquired by Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational company with 150 years of history behind it.
As **Engineering Team Leader** your mission would be to lead engineering team for the development of new machines and components and manage the product process from feasibility to the serial production.
**The Role**:
- Lead the New Product Development Team to release 3D/2D drawings following design guidelines
- Develop new products and ensure the update of current process and procedures
- Ensure the correctness of BOM, drawings and performance data
- Select the components based on technical and economic characteristics
- Collaborate with other engineering departments: Electrical & Controls, Core development, Labo
- Support other departments on the activities related to the project across the different phases: Purchasing, Production, Logistics, Aftermarket
- Provide the necessary information to release the manuals instruction and spare parts
- Create and mantein technical files
- Proven experience in people management (min 3 years)
- Proven experience in engineering (min 5 years)
- University Degree - Mechanical engineering or similar
- Italian and English fluency
- Positive and proactive approach, empathy and resilience
- Structured approach to lead activities with precision and punctuality
- Problem solving and team working attitude
- Ability to coordinate a team by taking care of priorities and deadlines
- Ability to keep respectful relations with all colleagues in order to foster a safe, calm and productive environment
- Trigger and maintain the conditions of active information sharing in the department and between the different functions within the company, with the goal to foster integrated actions to maximize our (internal or external) customers' satisfaction
