**Scope**:
The engineering Supervisor is responsible to guarantee the proper completion on time of the engineering activities of all Douglas Chero products.
He/She will report directly to the Plant Manager and will manage 3 employees
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Supervise, support and control the creation of the Bill of Materials
- Supervise, support and control the design of the products (valves, strainers and steam traps)
- Participation in the Contract Review
- Validation of the calculations for product design
- Design and documents update in the case of new projects and/or to be compliance with regulations
- Problem solving of technical issues during the production phase
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:
- Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 4/5 years of experience in engineering department of manufacturing plant (Oil & Gas)
- Previous experience in valves manufacturing plant (preferable)
**Competencies**:
- Knowledge of the mechanical characteristics and resistance of materials
- Knowledge of the sizing product regulations of pressure products (API, ASME, etc.
)
- Use of Solid Edge
- Use of MS Office
- Valve design (preferable)
- Fluency in English
- Problem solving
- People Management
