Main responsibilities
- Participates to the preparation of the investment plan of the Site defining the budget and the timing of each specific project.
- Responsible for specific engineering or extraordinary maintenance projects related to revamping and new installations of systems, equipment and site utilities.
- Assure the implementation of the engineering projects respecting times and costs.
- Defines the budget, scheduling and supervises the execution the engineering plans, including equipment and utilities qualification program.
- Execute and/or oversees the engineering activities of projects including equipment accessory and instrumentation through the support of Maintenance team and Subcontractor Company, ensuring the adoption of engineering and quality company standards.
- Define the User Requirements Specification of relevant item of the project (equipment, layout, P&ID, instruments..), in cooperation with all relevant Site stakeholders.
- Oversees on engineering point of view the installation of all instrumentation and equipment at the site.
- Responsible for opening and evaluating deviations and change control andfor CAPA opening and execution related to engineering/maintenance.
- Manages relationships with customers and suppliers and the relevant stakeholders.
- Ensures that the staff works according to GMP rules and Teva Engineering Guidelines.
- If relevant, in line with Human Resources Department policy, ensures the motivation and development of member staff.
Proposes and takes appropriate action, where necessary.
**Requirements**:
**Education**:
- Engineering Degree (Chemical or Mechanical).
Languages:
- English (good level of proficiency).
**Skills**:
- Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong Project Management.
- Problem solving.
- Familiar with systems.
Minimum experience/training required:
- 5-10 years experience in engineering and maintenance in API or Chemical industry.
- Adequate knowledge and experience of chemical and pharmaceutical production.
- Adequate working knowledge of GEP (Good Engineering Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
