Position Summary Engineering Project Management will lead the engineering efforts of major projects in electrification. The candidate will be responsible for delivering the solution and for controlling all the engineering and prototyping aspects of the project, including schedule, quality, and costs. This individual will have the ability to work in a dynamic environment with challenging deadlines. The job responsibilities will be very varied as it will touch many aspects of the growing Electrification group and will include some of the following responsibilities (but not limited to).

Main Responsibilities Owns engineering project timeline and implementation of necessary measures in case of deviations, creating work breakdown structure (WBS) for the technical activities in alignment to overall program milestones, including customer deliverables. Coordinates with customer's engineering functions to ensure alignment on milestones and features. Defines, together with the Chief Engineer and the engineering management, the required technical competencies needed for the successful execution of the program. Ensures the engineering project team is properly staffed in alignment with discipline managers and design reviews are completed on time per project needs and continuously assess project in terms of resource planning, resource management and execution. Responsible for the Engineering Desing & Testing cost creation, estimating engineering effort, tracking actuals and recoveries from customer (working with sales). . Ensures product development process conformance with automotive standard requirements, such ASPICE, and overall project quality managing all engineering release gates per Dana Product Development process (Design Review) and in support of Program Management' Stage Gate process. Represents engineering team in internal/customer meetings in support of the Chief Engineer, presenting project milestones, issues, change requests, risks, etc. Accountable for problems/issues, change and risk management (project and technical) including escalation per pre-defined strategy. Establish and reports engineering KPIs to engineering management, including budget (ED&T) and PPM planning status. Effectively communicate and escalate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain awareness of project scope, milestones, risks, and issues. Support RFQ/RFI and execution, department financial planning, etc. Job Position Requirements Education: University Bachelor Degree - Electrical, Mechanical or Software Engineering
Professional Background:
Experience in the automotive industry in a development environment, preferably at Tier1 or OEM e-propulsion department Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in powertrain or e-powertrain systems Knowledge of electrified powertrains. This means having the background and ability to think at the electrified powertrain system level. Relevant experience in requirements management tools e.g., Design, CAE, ASPICE, CMMI, Agile, PDP, Polarion, etc. Experience in automotive functional safety according to ISO26262 and Aspice Fluent in Egnlish. Soft Skills Ability to achieve results and work under pressure, proactive forward thinking in an environment with changing priorities. Experience in team and personnel management, an asset Demonstrated ability to document your work. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and in global, matrix-structured organisations.
