We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager in onshore project with a very good knowledge of International Codes and Standards and company rules, procedures, and General Specifications.Experiences on Gas activities is mandatory.Bachelor's degree in engineering field.10-15 years of experience in the oil industry, with significant experience in engineering.Management skills.Spirit of analysis, rigor, organization, initiative, pragmatism.Team player with ability to work collaboratively across complex project teams and interface between interdisciplinary departments and within an international team.Fluent in English.Professional Experience (number of years): 10 - 15Activities
Be responsible for the EGEP DBOOM Engineering contracts signed with the contractor and monitors their daily activities.Along with Contractor, plans the engineering activities in terms of resources, costs, and priorities (including for the review of documents from Engineering contractor and Construction Contractors).Be responsible for the compliance of the design of new facilities with respect to the objectives set and the applicable standards for the project.Be responsible for endorsing study requests (SOR, Notifications) sent to DO/PJC by FOPs, Logistic and any other Entity from Ratawi Hub, OT/TL, or OT/CL.Will be acting as technical authority for EGE Project.Be responsible for the endorsement of any associated SCNs related to the project.Validate the project engineering specifications, documents, drawings, calculations note and ensures their compliance in terms of: Quality Plan, Applicable TE Reference, Compliance with HSE rules, Planning, Sequencing of studies allowing monitoring and control of each study, Full satisfaction of the objectives set for EGE project.Ensure compliance with the review and validation stages of the studies in accordance with Contract rules.Ensure the constructability of the proposed design, and its adequacy with the overall Project budget.Be responsible for the progress of the studies, the control of their costs as well as their full satisfaction of the objectives as endorsed by DO/PJC.Be the main point of contact for DO/PJC for all engineering aspect.Coordinate with other Packages Engineering Managers (AGUP ph1, AGUP ph2, GMP, CSSP) all aspects related to Engineering interfaces and resources & competency sharing.Manage the RFS's implementation towards HQ, such RFS will be related to specific technical discipline and assistance to the Project.Be responsible of Contractor Engineering Dossier Robustness and compliance to the Project Specifications.Ensure that Contractor Engineering Dossier is verified and validated by any third party and or Local authorities as required.Validate the technical dossiers before launching the procurement of any equipment or material and ensure its compliance with Project specifications.Follow-Up Vendors Documentation during the engineering and execution phase till ready for Ex-WorkControl over Material quantity during the Design Phase.Solve the Technical Queries and Deviation Request in a prompt and professional manner.Apply the principle good enough during the whole Engineering Phases.Goals
The Engineering Manager is responsible of all engineering phases (Detail Engineering, execution, up to handover to Operations and provisional acceptance of the Facilities) and for all disciplines.The Engineering Manager will be acting as technical authority for EGE project and will be responsible to deliver the Engineering and procurement documents as per the schedule to meet the overall project objectives in terms of safety, quality, schedule and cost.
