Make a difference in our business Our team is responsible for the Electric Motors, drives, and Generators integration, scout innovative technologies, and originate opportunities to expand our portfolio, manage programs for technology development, electric machines selection and integration with other components, testing, and installation support for our customers.
Partner with the best In this role, you will work with all engineering departments contributing to the design and development of products, solutions, and systems, driving execution governance relevant to Electrical activities, partnering with all internal and external stakeholders.
Fuel your passion! As an Engineering Electrical Technology Leader - Electric Machines & Systems, you will be responsible for:
Supervising and reviewing electrical projects during engineer design review and design verification process, support design modification, working with all engineering departments to ensure perfect design and engineering integration.Addressing the configuration and features of Electric Machines (MV Motors & MV Generators), associated systems (VSDS, e-house, electrical BOP, etc.) and comprehensive system integration concepts and testing.Supporting new electric technology and product introduction: work with Electrical Platform and product leaders to introduce new standard product, including driven equipment and package design.Promoting and driving company initiatives and programs to develop new technologies in Energy Production such as storage, to support achievement of decarbonisation targets, develop new technologies to integrate renewable energy sources.Supporting product/program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior cross-functional stakeholders, contributing to identifying technology solutions innovations, creating strategic sustainability goals to keep competitiveness in energy transition.Supporting testing and installation for our customers, optimizing design testing methods and equipment acceptance criteria, revising and developing new processes and procedures with quality assurance.Leading RCA's and Lesson Learned reports, corrective and preventive action implementation, keeping staff working within internal procedures, quality standards, and safety rules, providing mentorship and technical career development path.Providing support to sales and proposal team to develop risk and opportunity assessments and monitoring the implementation of resulting actions into each area of responsibility.Developing and maintaining University Network to get in touch with other researchers to increase innovation and creativity.Required Qualifications To be successful in this role you will:
Have proven engineering experience within an electrical environment across products, quality standards, global procedures, and safety.Have a Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.Show experience in Power Electronics, Electrical Machines Design & Operations, with a solid background in Electrical Systems Engineering / Integration / Validation.Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate excellent leadership ability.Be a seasoned practitioner with an ability to work on complex technological solutions.Have strong problem-solving skills to develop new methods and approaches.Be confident and speak with authority in the network of experts and in project teams.Be fluent both in English and in Italian (oral and written) and hold an EU passport or work permit.Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
