For the Thermo Fisher Scientific (Thermo Ramsey) site in Parma, a mechanical plant operating in the food and pharmaceutical packaging sector we're looking a Quality Engineer.
Discover Impactful Work: At Thermo Fisher Scientific, Quality Engineering is responsible for conducting comprehensive testing and ensuring the quality and reliability of hardware products.
They collaborate with cross-functional teams, track and document defects, and propose effective solutions.
With a strong understanding of the hardware development lifecycle and testing methodologies, they contribute to improving quality assurance processes and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
A day in the Life: Identify, document, and track hardware defects and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
Perform root cause analysis of hardware defects and propose effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
Continuously improve and streamline the quality assurance processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Keys to Success: Education Engineering or similar bachelors degree or equivalent required.
Experience Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing or quality environment.
Familiar with various quality tools, techniques and methodologies, including functional, performance, and reliability testing.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledge in standards and regulations such as ISO 9001.
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of staff throughout the organization.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
