No Offer Description The successful candidate will be part of the team responsible for the Injection System of the Elettra 2.0 source, supporting activities such as: Development, prototyping, assembly of sub-systems and drafting of related documentation; Characterization of electrical and magnetic components; Procurement of components of the Injection System; Interfacing with members of other project teams; Managing the exchange of information necessary for project implementation. He/she will also assist the team leader in the maintenance of the magnets, pulsed magnets and circuits of the current Elettra storage ring. Minimum Requirements A Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics or equivalent is required. A Master degree in Electronic Engineering or Physics (with Electronics or Radiofrequency specialization) as well as previous experience in activities involving high power/high voltage instrumentation would be considered a plus. Good knowledge of software tools for circuit simulations, calculations, programming, etc. would also be considered a plus. Good oral and written communication skills in Italian and English are required. Good time management skills and ability to prioritize are expected, together with the ability to interact with the facility staff at all levels and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The salary will be commensurate with the previous experience and qualifications of the candidate.
