Home / Careers / Engineer for testing and prototipation Engineer for testing and prototipationAbout this positionCompany DescriptionThe interaction engineering company.Founded in 2004, RE:Lab is now a leader in the design, development, and evaluation of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).Our company's culture is User-Centred and User-Experience driven.We help machines to help humans.Our aim is to improve the relationship between people and technologies in order to make the products and services of our customers reach higher levels of quality and competitiveness.Designers, Human Factor experts, and engineers work side by side to achieve the most suitable interaction with a technological solution – either visual, physical, vocal, or gestural.In doing that, we can count on consolidated expertise in interaction and visual design, ergonomics, and human factors, as well as on SW, FW, and HW development for HMI.PositionTo strenghten our amazing, passion-driven team, we are looking for a Testing and Prototyping Engineer for the following areas:Technical Direction.You will:Perform testing and prototyping activities for automotive components and support integration and debugging activities on component benches and in vehicles, both HW and SW.Manage laboratory activities, providing support in the execution of some projects (construction of testing bench, simulators, proto boards, gateways) in terms of setup, execution, and reporting.Interface with internal stakeholders and possibly suppliers to resolve SW and HW bugs, offering support in case of critical issues encountered during testing activities.Generate reports after test execution, describing any possible failures encountered, potentially to be reported on Jira.Perform sanity checks in vehicles to ensure that various setups to be used are functional and that the activities to be performed do not have critical issues, interfacing with the various stakeholders involved and in accordance with company processes.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, preferably with a specialization in electronic engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering, or a related field;Previous experience with laboratory tools for electrical/electronic measurements;Knowledge of CANalyzer and Dianalyzer for testing activities;Knowledge of board design and prototyping;Knowledge of both Italian and English.Nice to have skills:Experience in measuring and characterizing speakers;Experience in measuring and characterizing amplifiers;Knowledge of Altium, Pspice, Orcad, Catia, Solidworks and A2B Bus Analyzer;Knowledge of Jira;Knowledge of Vehicle Spy;Being able to write and present reports.Other informationFull TimeHybrid, In ModenaOur company is dedicated to conducting its business with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.We are guided by a steadfast commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion, creating a work environment where every individual can feel respected, valued, and motivated to perform at their best.LocationModena LocationModena ExperienceEntry level ExperienceEntry level ContractFull-time ContractFull-time Are you interested in applying?Keep in contact.If you are interested in collaborating with us or if you would like information about our services, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
