JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking an Energy Strategy Consultant to join our internal Energy Transition practice. As a key member of our team, you will engage in strategy projects aimed at helping clients navigate the complexities of the energy transition. This role focuses on a diverse array of topics, including energy infrastructures, Oil & Gas, renewables, biofuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage (CCS&U).
As an Energy Strategy Consultant, you will be responsible for the following:
Energy Scenario Development: Analyze and project future energy landscapes to inform strategic decision-making. Technology and Regulatory Framework Assessment: Evaluate current and emerging technologies and associated regulatory environments. Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop effective market entry and growth strategies for energy products and services. Techno-Economic Evaluation of Energy Assets: Conduct thorough assessments to determine the financial viability and economic impact of energy assets. Business Planning: Create comprehensive business plans that align with client objectives and market opportunities. Development of Industrial Plans: Formulate strategic plans that drive industrial growth and sustainability. Decarbonization Strategy Definition: Help clients define and implement effective decarbonization strategies tailored to their specific needs. Business Due Diligence: Perform due diligence assessments to support mergers, acquisitions, and investment decisions in the energy sector. JOB REQUIREMENTS You have a degree in energy or management engineering. You have up to 2 years of relevant working experience; prior experience in strategy / management consulting operating in the energy sector. You possess excellent quantitative and numeracy skills. You have international academic or work experience. You are fully Microsoft Office-proficient. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are fluent in English and Italian; having language certifications is a plus. You are a team player with an entrepreneurial attitude – not shying away from responsibility.
