Azienda Multinational Company working in the Transport Industry Job Description The Energy Project Manager will play a key role in managing and optimizing energy-related initiatives in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic energy projects, identifying opportunities for energy efficiency improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of energy systems, sustainability practices, and project management. Current projects are the roll-out of PV and wind turbines across locations that are not yet (fully) equipped with such systems, implementation of a smart energy system, optimization of electricity supply contracts and building of dashboards (Power BI) to obtain the right management information. Furthermore, you will be involved in due diligence projects of new acquisitions and development of greenfield/brownfield projects. In particular the Energy Project Manager will be responsible of:Energy Audits and Assessments; Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement. Analyze energy data and propose actionable recommendations for efficiency gains. Been updated on industry bes t practices and emerging technologies in energy management.Energy Project Development: Identify and evaluate opportunities for energy efficiency improvements within the col d store facilities. Develop and implement strategic energy projects to reduce energy consumption and improve sustainability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate energy management into overall business strategies.Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with local and regional energy regulations. Keep abreast of changes in energy policies and proactively adjust strategies to maintain compliance.Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets for energy-related projects. Implement cost-effective measures to achieve energy efficiency goals. Identify and secure funding opportunities, grants, and incentives for energy projects.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of energy projects with business objectives. Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of energy projects to leadership. Competenze ed esperienzaThe ideal Energy Project Manager has:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in Energy Management is a plus. Proven experience in energy project management, preferably in the col d storage or related industry.Strong understanding of energy systems, sustainability practices, and regulatory requirements.Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects within budget and on schedule.
