- This role focuses on the project & proposal management of international R&D projects, focused on sustainability and decarbonization of the built environment, as well as climate change adaptation at rural and urban levels.
**Key Accountabilities**
- The new resource will be part of the team Energy Innovation Strategic Centre, which is mainly exposed to R&D projects and innovation activities. They will:
- Manage EU R&D projects in the field of sustainability, decarbonization and climate adaptation of the built environment in urban and rural contexts
- Develop and manage EU R&D proposals in the same fields listed concerning R&D project management
- Develop and manage the network of EU project international partners.
- Scout Funded and Tendered opportunities in the field of Energy efficiency
- Contribute to RINA's activities of technical development, in the framework of EU funded projects also interacting with international partners
- Contribute to or delivery reports and results European research and innovation projects involving energy efficiency, decarbonization, and climate mitigation and adaptation
- Contribute to the creation of new opportunities and the preparation of new proposals in the framework of European and international R&D programmes
- Contribute to the growth of RINA's network of R&D partners in the field of energy transition, and climate mitigation and adaptation
**Qualifications**
- Degree in Energy/Building/Environmental engineering, with a strong focus on sustainability and climate mitigation/adaptation strategies
- PhD in a relevant field is a strong plus
- At least 3 years of related work-experience (including PhD)
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Excellent reporting skills both verbal and written
- Capacity to conduct research, organize work and produce results
- Excellent attitude to teamwork
- Open-minded to innovation, creativity and good attitude to networking
