Emergency Management Specialist

You will serve as an Emergency Management Specialist in the Navy Installations Command of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Participate in emergency management and disaster control planning, training, and operations to maintain compliance with regulations;Develop and recommend integration of Emergency Management Services (EMS) capabilities within structure fire and emergency criteria for installations and regions;Advise senior leadership on emergency management procedures that comply with standards and maintain an acceptable level of risk to mission operations;Monitor program readiness (e.g., hazard assessments, checklists) to ensure emergency management efforts yield improved readiness results.NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for this position.
