Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical EMC Testing Engineer to join our team in Bologna, Italy.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests, analysing results, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

This position is part of a project to be developed at client's premises.

Main tasks will include: Conducting electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing to ensure the vehicle's systems meet the required standards; Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and client specifications regarding EMC and regulations such as UN ECE R10, CISPR 12, CISPR 25, etc.; Analyze EE architectures from an EMC point of view and propose design countermeasures (wire harnesses and components); Analyze test data from testing and propose issue countermeasures; Ensuring that the project meets defined targets in terms of functionality and quality; Analyze test results and interpret data to assess product compliance; Prepare comprehensive technical reports detailing test procedures and outcomes; Develop and implement EMC test methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy; Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures.

Qualifications: Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related field; At least 1 year of experience in a similar role in the automotive field; Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; Comprehensive knowledge of EMC testing methodologies and standards; Knowledge and experience of product development and/or verification is a merit; Knowledge of semi-anechoic chamber working methodologies and equipment is valuable; Knowledge and experience in antenna radiation paths; Well-organized with root cause analysis skills; Excellent customer service skills; Excellent organization and time management skills; Ability to make technical decisions and engineering judgments; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Italian mother tongue; Good knowledge of the English language.
