Embedded Software Test Automation EngineerThe ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests across the software delivery pipeline, from unit tests to system tests, using Python and C#. This role will primarily focus on testing firmware and embedded software for electronic devices, including user interfaces, electronic converter controllers, and IoT (Bluetooth) functionalities.
Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python and C#.Create and execute automated test suites to verify the functionality of firmware and embedded software components.Collaborate with software development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage throughout the software development lifecycle.Identify and report software defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues in a timely manner.Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing processes.Perform regression testing to ensure the stability and reliability of software releases.Contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies and processes, with a focus on agile principles.Utilize IoT testing techniques, particularly Bluetooth, to validate connectivity and functionality in household appliances.Maintain documentation related to test plans, procedures, and results.Workplace: VareseRequisiti:Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field (MSc preferred).Proven experience in software test automation, with proficiency in Python and C#.Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.Experience with firmware and embedded software testing, particularly in the context of electronic devices.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices, preferably with certification in ISTQB Agile.Knowledge of Bluetooth technology and IoT testing techniques is desirable.Experience with version control systems.Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.What we offer:An employment contract commensurate with your profile.Responsibility and growth opportunities.Flexible and dynamic environment.Flat organizational structure.International environment.Smart working opportunities.Welfare benefits.Health insurance.Please send your CV with a photo in Word or PDF format and only if you meet the required qualifications.
