ELECTRONICS MECHANIC FOREMAN Vicenza, Italy Ausschreibungsbereich FOR THIS POSITION APPLICATIONS CAN BE SUBMITTED IN ITALIAN OR IN ENGLISH.Applications will be accepted from INTERNAL Local National employees who are seeking promotion or reassignment.If you have any questions about this vacancy or the application process, please email us at: ****** or call 0444-715026 from 14.00 to 16.00 (Mon-Fri).Hauptaufgaben Incumbent plans day-to-day or long-range work schedules and sequences of operations for subordinates.Determines the number and types of employees needed, and obtains materials and equipment required to meet established deadlines and priorities.Responsible for adherence to established procedures; consults with supervisor on proposed deviations.Incumbent selects individual workers and assigns work or tasks to be performed.Coordinates the work of the unit supervised with other individual units as required.Provides technical advice and assistance in problem encountered and recommends solutions.Inspects work site to ensure proper utilization of personnel and equipment.Reviews work in progress or on completion to assure the quality of work, compliance with established procedures and adherence to established safety and environmental requirements.Adjusts plans, assignments, and methods as necessary to accomplish the work as effectively and as economically as feasible.Ensures subordinate workers are operating in compliance with established safety procedures (CEI EN 50110 ½) and scope of authority delegated them for work performance.Maintains close liaison with safety personnel to eliminate potential safety and fire hazards.Closely monitors operations ensuring all employees comply, apply and use guideline techniques correctly.Develops and drafts performance standards, counsels employees on performance as needed, recommends disciplinary actions when required, approves and disapproves leave requests and completes formal annual performance appraisals.Identifies employees' training needs and requests training required.Prepares manpower hours records, monthly T&A and inputs data (cost and hours) into GFEBS.Promotes the participation of employees in programs such as the suggestion awards and cost reduction programs.Provides information to supervisor as requested concerning promotions, reassignment, recognition of outstanding performance, and personnel needs.Participates in selection boards and technical job performance tests to support hiring and promotion related actions.Ensures that subordinates are adequately informed of their responsibilities for caring for and reporting problems related to the facilities they work within.The incumbent is directly responsible to the supervisor for employee compliance concerning care of the structures, hazardous materials and waste within the work area per Italian Legislative Decree 81.Ensures that personnel are properly trained in and observe all aspects of hazardous materials and waste management including current regulatory guidance, labeling and identification procedures, handling procedures (to include storage and transportation), spill and accident notification, and response procedures.Maintains necessary documentation pertaining to compliance with hazardous materials and waste regulations and procedures.Coordinates with environmental office, and battalion safety office concerning hazardous materials and waste matters.Notifies proper authorities of hazardous materials/waste spills or accidents from vehicles being driven, stocked or parked.Insures subordinates wear required protective clothing.NOTE: Tour of duty is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 08.00 to 17.00, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.Qualifikationsanforderungen MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet the qualification requirements in the Qualification Standards Handbook as summarized below.1.ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE; 2.ABILITY TO USE AND MAINTAIN TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT; 3.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF MORE THAN FIVE YEARS OF EQUIPMENT ASSEMBLY, INSTALLATION AND REPAIR; 4.TECHNICAL PRACTICES; 4.MEASUREMENT AND LAYOUT; 5.ABILITY TO INTERPRET INSTRUCTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS; 6.TROUBLESHOOTING.HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED: In order to qualify for this position, your application must provide sufficient experience and/or education to meet the requirements of the position.You will be rated based on the experience and education described on your application.Copies of certifications (e.g."PES") must be submitted at the time of application to the following email address: ****** Please specify the vacancy announcement number on the subject line of the email message.Failure to submit documents in a timely manner may result in a disqualification rating.Auswahlkriterien auswählen Incumbent must possess PES Certification IAW CEI 11-27 and CEIEN 50110 1/2, issued by agencies specialized in technical training.Beschäftigungsbedingungen Not applicable.
