In order to strengthen our engineering team, we are looking to hire a Electronics Hardware Engineering Specialist , based in Maranello (Italy). As part of the Sensors & Application Engineering Department, the ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer passionate about complex mixed-signal electronic systems, novel sensing solutions, and their integration at the vehicle level. You will be responsible for: Development, integration, and debugging of electronic components at the vehicle level. Optimization of existing solutions to enhance performance and/or reduce costs. Gathering requirements from other R&D departments and delivering solutions within project constraints related to cost and schedule. Supporting hardware and software development and debugging of components featuring complex electronic subsystems. In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master's degree or PhD in Electronic Engineering or equivalent. You will have gained at least 5 years' dedicated experience in the design, development, and debugging of electronic components, not necessarily limited to the automotive industry. Proficiency with test and measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers) and a strong understanding of PCB design, circuit theory, and microelectronics are important to manage the activities and responsibilities of the role. Familiarity with firmware development, vehicle networking, and related debugging tools is a plus. Knowledge of automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, EMI/EMC compliance) is an advantage. Strong technical project management skills, decision making, and accountability are essential to manage the activities and work transversally within the organization.
